1977 - Debbie was named Female Vocalist of the Year at the first First MACA awards.1977 also saw the album release of Debbie Ross and the Comencheros with Jim Major and Brian White.
Debbie's last band was County Line with Jack Nelson, Billy Kiltirnick and Darren Beigun.
1997 - Debbie received the lifetime achievement award and was nicknamed godmother of Country music for the province of Manitoba.
Debbie has traveled across Canada and is mostly known for playing in Winnipeg, Medicine Hat and Calgary.
As a single mother, Debbie managed to raise two boys and make a career as well.
